Yevgeny Alexandrowitsch Morgunow ( Russian Евгений Александрович Моргунов ; born April 27, 1927 in Moscow ; † June 25, 1999 ibid) was a Russian actor , author , director and film producer .

life and career

In 1948 Morgunov graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow. At the same time he played in the theater.

Morgunov starred in more than 100 film roles. In the 1960s he gained fame through participation in the comedies of Leonid Gaidai such as Pjos Barbos i neobytschny kross ( Пёс Барбос и необычный кросс , 1961), Operation “Y” and other adventures Shuriks ( Оперангия ю п Ы 65 ) and kidnapping in the Caucasus ( Кавказская пленница, или Новые приключения Шурика , 1969). He successfully played in the films Jechali w tramwaje Ilf i Petrov ( Ехали в трамвае Ильф и Петров , 1972) and Pokrovskije vorota (Покровские ворота, 1982).

The greatest success with the audience brought the role of the "experienced" in the films of Leonid Gaidai, in which he played together with Georgi Wizin and Juri Nikulin .
