Jewhen Serhijowytsch Selin ( Ukrainian Євген Сергійович Селін ; born May 9, 1988 in Novoajdar in Luhansk Oblast ) is a Ukrainian football player .

Athletic career

Selin began playing football with the Stal Alchevsk Juniors . In the 2006/2007 season he moved to Metalist Kharkiv , where he was not a regular player. From 2010 to the end of 2012, the 190 centimeter tall defender played for Vorskla Poltava . He has been playing for Dynamo Kiev since January 2013 .

In October 2011 Selin was appointed to the Ukrainian national team for the first time and played in a friendly against Bulgaria . National coach Oleh Blochin called him into the squad for the 2012 European Football Championship . Selin was used in all three group games of the Ukrainian team at the European Championship.
