Edward Toms
Edward James Toms (born December 11, 1899 in Uxbridge, London Borough of Hillingdon , † January 2, 1971 in Wareham ) was a British sprinter .
In 1924 he became English champion over 440 yards in his personal best of 50.0 s. At the Olympic Games in Paris , he was eliminated from the 400 m quarter-finals after a fall. In the 4 x 400 meter relay , he won bronze with the British team.
