Ji'an
Ji'an ( Chinese 吉安 市 , Pinyin Jí'ān Shì ) is a district-free city in the Chinese province of Jiangxi . It has about 4.92 million inhabitants (as of the end of 2016) and a total area of 25,271 km². 328,318 people live in the actual urban settlement area of Ji'an (2010 census).
Ji'an was the namesake for the Ji'an dialect of Gan .
Administrative structure
At the county level, Ji'an is divided into two districts , one city and ten districts. These are:
- Jizhou District (吉州区), 416 km², 290,000 inhabitants, center, seat of the city government;
- Qingyuan District (青 原 区), 915 km², 130,000 inhabitants;
- Jinggangshan City (井冈山 市), 1,270 km², 150,000 inhabitants;
- Ji'an County (吉安 县), 2,111 km², 420,000 inhabitants, capital: Dunhou Township (敦厚 镇);
- Jishui District (吉 水 县), 2,475 km², 430,000 inhabitants, capital: Wenfeng Municipality (文峰 镇);
- Circle Xiajiang (峡江县) 1,287 km², 160,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Shui Bian (水边镇);
- Circle Xingan (新干县), km² 1248, 300,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Jinchuan (金川镇);
- Yongfeng County (永丰县), 2,695 km², 400,000 inhabitants, capital: Enjiang Township (恩 江镇);
- Taihe County (泰和县), 2,666 km², 500,000 inhabitants, capital: Cengjiang Municipality (澄江镇);
- Circle Suichuan (遂川县), km² 3102, 510,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Quanjiang (泉江镇);
- Wan'an County (万安县), 2,046 km², 280,000 inhabitants, capital: Furong Municipality (芙蓉镇);
- Anfu district (安福 县), 2,793 km², 370,000 inhabitants, main town: Pingdu municipality (平 都 镇);
- Yongxin County (永新 县), 2,195 km², 450,000 inhabitants, capital: Hechuan Municipality (禾 川镇).
