Ji Wallace (born June 23, 1977 in Lismore , New South Wales ) is a former Australian trampoline gymnast .

Wallace won a gold medal at the 19th World Trampoline Championships in Vancouver in 1996 . In 2000 he won a silver medal in trampoline gymnastics at the Summer Olympics in Sydney . After this success, Wallace ended his trampoline career and went freestyle skiing , then he worked as a trampoline trainer in China. After coming out publicly in 2005, he became an ambassador for the Gay Games . On August 8, 2012, he admitted that he was infected with HIV in a letter to an Australian newspaper .
