The Jiangzhai site ( Chinese  姜 寨 遗址 , Pinyin Jiāngzhài yízhǐ , English Jiangzhai Site ) is the site of a Neolithic settlement of the Yangshao culture (the Banpo and Miaodigou types of the Yangshao culture) in the Lintong district of Xi'an in the Shaanxi Province, China . It is dated to 4600-4400 BC. And was excavated from 1972 to 1979. Dwellings, a ceramic kiln and graves were discovered. The Jiangzhai site (Jiangzhai yizhi) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-20) since 1996 .
