Jidou El Moctar

Jidou El Moctar (born July 8, 1985 in Nouakchott , Mauritania ) is a Mauritanian athlete.

He represented his country at the Olympic Games in London 2012 in the 200-meter run , where he retired in a personal best of 22.94 seconds as eighth of his heat. At the opening ceremony of the games he was the flag bearer of his country.

At the 2015 World Athletics Championships in Beijing and at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, El Moctar competed in the 100-meter run , but was eliminated after the heats.
