Acun Ilıcalı
Acun Ilıcalı (born May 29, 1969 in Edirne ) is a Turkish film producer and presenter . He is also the founder and owner, but does not own the entire stake, of the television production company Acun Medya . He became known through the television show Acun Firarda .
Life
Acun Ilıcalı was born in 1969 in the northwest Turkish city of Edirne. His family is from Aziziye in Erzurum . He finished his school in Edirne. He attended the Kadıköy Maarif Koleji and Kadıköy Anadolu Lisesi high schools in Istanbul and then studied English at the Istanbul University .
Television career
Ilıcalı started his career on television as a sports reporter and was successfully promoted. He then moderated various TV programs.
In 2004 he founded his production company Acun Medya. With this he produced and hosted many TV shows such as O Ses Türkiye , Yetenek Sizsiniz Turkiye ( Das Supertalent ) , Survivor Türkiye and Yok Böyle Dans ( Let's Dance ) . In 2005 he was under contract with the Turkish television station Kanal D. From 2006 to summer 2012 he was under contract with Show TV and between summer 2012 and summer 2014 with Star TV.
In 2013, Ilıcalı and his Acun Medya acquired 70% of the shares in the television broadcaster tv8 . All of his programs have been broadcast on this channel since August 2014.
Private
He married for the first time in 1988 and has a daughter from this marriage. He lost his parents after having his first child and then divorced his wife in 1993. In 2003 he married Zeynep Yilmaz with whom he had been together for 10 years. From this marriage, Ilıcalı has two more daughters.
In 2016 he divorced his second wife Zeynep Yilmaz and married Seyma Subasi in September 2017. Ilıcalı and Subasi have a daughter together. However, Ilıcalı and Subasi divorced in November 2018.
