Jikkemien Ligteringen

Jikkemien Ligteringen (* 1974 Rotterdam ) is a Dutch sculptor and currently teaches at the Macromedia University in Freiburg and in the Kubus³ project workshop .

Life

After completing her teacher training course at HR&O University in 1996, she studied educational sciences at Leiden University and graduated with a master’s degree in 1999. She then studied fine arts from 2009 to 2014 at the University of Art, Design and Popular Music Freiburg (hKDM). After graduating, she is a lecturer and employee in the Kubus³ sculpture workshop. In 2016 she got a teaching position as an art lecturer at the hKdM. In 2017 she is visiting lecturer at the Edith Marion Art School in Münzingen .
