Jill Ross

Jill Ross ( Jill Margaret Ross, first marriage Ross-Giffen, second marriage Woolley; born February 23, 1958 in London , Ontario ) is a former Canadian all-rounder and long jumper .

At the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, she was fourth in the pentathlon and ninth in the long jump, and at the Pan American Games in 1979 in San Juan, she won bronze in the pentathlon and was eighth in the long jump.

At the pentathlon of the Pacific Conference Games in 1981 and the heptathlon of the Commonwealth Games in 1982 , she won more bronze medals.

In 1984 she came in 15th place in the heptathlon at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles .

Four times she was Canadian champion in pentathlon or heptathlon (1979, 1982-1984) and twice in the long jump (1979, 1980).
