Jim Cantalupo
James Richard "Jim" Cantalupo (born November 14, 1943 in Chicago , Illinois , USA ; † April 19, 2004 in Orlando , Florida ) was the head of the world's largest restaurant group, McDonald’s .
After eight years with Arthur Young, Cantalupo moved to McDonald's in 1974, where he initially worked as a controller . In 1991 he became CEO of the company and remained so until his death with a brief interruption. He was succeeded by Charlie Bell . Cantalupo was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the group.
He died on April 19, 2004 of a heart attack at the age of 60.
