Jim Noir
Jim Noir (* 1982 in Davyhulme ), whose real name is Alan Roberts , is an English singer from Davyhulme, southwest of Manchester .
His stage name pays homage to Vic Reeves , whose real name is Moir . His music is counted as psychedelic pop . He has so far released an album Tower of Love in December 2005 under the label My Dad Recordings . It is made up of several singles that he previously recorded at home with his parents. Noir masters various instruments himself, but he appears in public with a band. The song Eanie Meany can be heard in the Adidas advertising Jose + 10 for the 2006 World Cup . His computer song can be heard in 2010 advertising for the new Replay fragrance. The song My Patch appears as background music in the PlayStation 3 game Little Big Planet .
