Jimmy Lemi Milla

Jimmy Lemi Milla (born August 8, 1948 in Equatoria ( today: al-Istiwa'iyya al-wusta ), † February 9, 2011 in Juba ) was a South Sudanese politician. Until his death, he held the post of Minister for Rural Development in South Sudan.

Milla studied at Makerere University in Uganda , where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1973 . He then continued his studies at the University of Addis Ababa , Ethiopia , and at the Khartoum School of Mass Communication .

During his political career, he was minister of state for education in al-Istiwa'iyya al-wusta and vice governor of this state.

Jimmy Lemi Milla was murdered in his Juba office on February 9, 2011. The circumstances are still unclear (currently February 2011). He was married and had children.
