Jindřich Kumpošt

Jindřich Kumpošt (born July 12, 1891 in Brno , † July 14, 1968 there ) was a Czech architect .

Life

Jindřich Kumpošt studied from 1906 to 1910 at the construction department of the State Trade School in Brno under Professor Emil Králík , meanwhile he also worked in his private architecture office in Brno. He then studied architecture from 1914 to 1919 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna (Professor Leopold Bauer ). From 1920 to 1925 he was chief architect of the city of Brno; between 1945 and 1949 lecturer in urban development and regional planning at the Brno University of Technology ( VUT - Vysoké učení technické ) .
