Jinzhong ( Chinese 晋中 市 , Pinyin Jìnzhōng Shì ) is a city in the east of the Chinese province of Shanxi with approx. 3.35 million inhabitants (end of 2016) on an area of 16,387 km². 444,002 people live in the actual urban settlement area of Jincheng (2010 census).
Administrative structure
The district-free city of Jinzhong is composed of two districts , a district-free city and eight districts . These are:
- Taigu District - 太谷 区Tàigǔ Qū ;
- Yuci Municipality - 榆次 区Yúcì Qū ;
- Jiexiu City - 介休 市Jièxiū Shì ;
- Circle Yushe -榆社县Yushe Xiàn ;
- Zuoquan County - 左权 县Zuǒquán Xiàn ;
- Heshun County - 和顺 县Héshùn Xiàn ;
- District Xiyang -昔阳县Xiyang Xiàn ;
- District Shouyang -寿阳县Shouyang Xiàn ;
- Qi district - 祁县Qí Xiàn ;
- Pingyao County - 平遥 县Píngyáo Xiàn ;
- District Lingshi -灵石县Lingshi Xiàn .
