Shuozhou
Shuozhou ( Chinese 朔州市 ) is a prefecture-level city in the province of Shanxi of the People's Republic of China .

The place has an administrative area of 10,662 km² and about 1.71 million inhabitants.
Administrative structure
At the county level, Shuozhou is made up of two city districts , three districts and one urban district. These are:
- Shuocheng District (朔 城区), 1,793 km², 380,000 inhabitants;
- Pinglu district (平 鲁 区), 2,314 km², 190,000 inhabitants;
- Circle Shanyin (山阴县), km² 1652, 220,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Daiyue (岱岳镇);
- Ying County (应 县), 1,708 km², 270,000 inhabitants, capital: Jincheng Township (金 城镇);
- Youyu County (右玉 县), 1,965 km², 100,000 inhabitants, capital: Xincheng Municipality (新 城镇);
- City of Huairen (怀仁 市), 1,230 km², 250,000 inhabitants, capital: Yunzhong municipality (云 中 镇).
Economy and Transport
The coal mining industry is an important economic factor. The Zhunge – Shuozhou railway is used to transport the coal .
