The municipality of Pinglu ( Chinese 平 鲁 区 , Pinyin Pínglǔ Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city of Shuozhou in the Chinese province of Shanxi . It has an area of 2,314 km² and has a population of 200,000 (2004).
