Xinzhou

Xinzhou ( Chinese 忻州 市 , Pinyin Xīnzhōu Shì ) is a city in the north of the Chinese province of Shanxi with approx. 3.16 million inhabitants (end of 2016) on an area of 25,151 km². The actual urban settlement area of Xinzhou is home to 279,875 people (2010 census).
Administrative structure
The district-free city of Xinzhou consists of a district, a district-free city and eleven counties. These are:
- Xinfu Municipality - 忻 府 区Xīnfǔ Qū ;
- Yuanping City - 原 平 市Yuánpíng Shì ;
- District Ding Xiang -定襄县Dìngxiāng Xiàn ;
- Wutai County - 五台 县Wǔtái Xiàn ;
- Dai County - 代 县Dài Xiàn ;
- Fanshi County - 繁峙 县Fánshì Xiàn ;
- Ningwu County - 宁武 县Níngwǔ Xiàn ;
- Jingle County - 静乐县Jìnglè Xiàn ;
- Circle shenchi -神池县shenchi Xiàn ;
- Wuzhai County - 五寨 县Wǔzhài Xiàn ;
- Kelan County - 岢岚县Kělán Xiàn ;
- Hequ County - 河曲 县Héqǔ Xiàn ;
- Baode district - 保德县Bǎodé Xiàn ;
- Circle Pianguan -偏关县Pianguan Xiàn .
