Jirō Yabe ( Japanese 矢 部 次郎 Yabe Jirō ; born May 26, 1978 in Aichi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yabe learned to play soccer on the school team at Nara Ikuei High School . He signed his first contract in 1997 with the Nagoya Grampus Eight . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2000 he moved to the second division Sagan Tosu . For the club he completed 136 games. He then played with the Arte Takasaki (2005-2006) and Nara Club (2008-2011). At the end of 2011 he ended his career as a football player.
