João Gabriel Martins Peglow (born January 7, 2002 in Porto Alegre ) is a Brazilian football player . He plays for Internacional Porto Alegre in his hometown and is a center forward. Peglow is also a young Brazilian national player.

Career

João Peglow, who was born in Porto Alegre in the European south of Brazil and mentions the Portuguese world footballer Cristiano Ronaldo as a role model , joined the youth teams of Internacional Porto Alegre as a child and received his first professional contract at the age of 16. His achievements at the U17 World Cup in 2019 in his own country led to promotion to the Porto Alegrensian professional team, whereupon João Peglow's contract was extended to 2023 on January 1, 2020.

On July 25, 2020, at the age of 18, he made his points debut for the professional team of Internacional Porto Alegre in a 1-1 draw in the state championship of Rio Grande do Sul at CE Bento Gonçalves.

National team

During the tournament in Montaigu , France , Peglow ran for the Brazilian U16 selection. He was used in four games and hit the net four times. With the U17 national team he took part in the U17 European Championship 2019 in his own country and won the title. Peglow was used in all games of his team and scored three goals.
