Joanne Nicholas
Joanne "Jo" Nicholas (born October 10, 1977 , nee Joanne Wright ) is a former English badminton player . She is not to be confused with Joanne Goode , who was born five years earlier and is also a born Joanne Wright.
Career
In 1997 Joanne Wright won the Irish Open with Gail Emms in women's doubles, a year later they were able to defend this title. In 2000 they both won the US Open and the Austrian International, and the following season they became English champions. Later, Jo Nicholas started as a legionnaire in Germany for SG EBT Berlin and became runner-up there in 2005.
