Theodor Held

Theodor Held (born April 2, 1859 in Zeven , † August 23, 1947 in Berlin ) was a businessman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Held had a high school education and attended a polytechnic. He first became a businessman and later became a factory owner and member of the city council in Menden in Westphalia. From 1894 to 1900 he was a city councilor and member of the church council in Menden. He was also a member of the central executive committee of the National Liberal Party from 1898 to 1903.

From 1903 to December 29, 1908 and from 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Hanover 6 ( Syke - Verden ) and the National Liberal Party . From 1907 to 1908 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1919 to 1928 a member of the Landtag of the Free State of Prussia for the German People's Party .
