Joachim Albrecht (politician)

Joachim Albrecht (born April 22, 1950 in Duderstadt ) is a German CDU politician. From 2003 to 2008 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . He is married and has three children.

education and profession

After graduating from high school Josephinum in Hildesheim , he studied history, geography and political science at the University of Hanover . Since then he has taught at various schools, including the St. Ursula School in Hanover . After leaving the state parliament, he worked in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Education until his retirement .

politics

He has been a member of the CDU since 1968, where he has held various offices since then. Among other things, since January 2005 he has been the deputy mayor of the Mitte district in Hanover.

From 2003 to 2008 Albrecht was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . He was elected to the state parliament by the constituency 31 Hannover-Mitte . There he was a member of the Culture Committee and a deputy member of the Committee for Federal and European Affairs and the Media, the Committee for Science and Culture and the Committee for Internal Affairs and Sport.
