Joachim Brock
Joachim Brock (* 1891 ; † 1969 ) was a German pediatrician and professor at the Philipps University of Marburg .
Life
Brock studied medicine in Berlin (doctorate in 1919) and in Marburg (Lahn). He completed his habilitation there in 1927, worked as a senior physician at the university children's clinic and taught as a private lecturer, and from 1933 as an associate professor. In November 1933 he signed the German professors' confession of Adolf Hitler . From 1934 he was a member of the Sturmabteilung (SA). He was married to the composer Max Reger's daughter Charlotte . From 1936 he was a pediatrician in Bad Dürrheim and after 1945 in Hamburg . In 1961, the German Society for Child and Adolescent Medicine made him an honorary member.
