Joachim Carl von Prehn

Joachim Carl von Prehn (* 1674 ; † June 13, 1709 in Hungary ) was a royal Danish colonel and chief of the Dithmersen cavalry regiment.

Joachim Carl von Prehn studied at the University of Rostock from 1693 . He was a lieutenant colonel in the Dithmersen cavalry regiment and came to Hungary on imperial pay. The regiment chief Dithmersen died there and later his successor Trappaud . On March 1, 1707, Prehn became a colonel and on December 9, 1707, he became head of the regiment. The regiment continued to fight under him. But Prehn was not supposed to return alive either. He died in Hungary on the night of June 12th to June 13th, 1709.

Prehm was married to an NN von Bibow .
