Joachim Gerner
Joachim Gerner (born April 30, 1981 in Braunau am Inn ) is an Austrian chef .
Career
After training at Ebner's Waldhof in Fuschl am See , Gerner moved to the Hotel Ronacher in Bad Kleinkirchheim in 1999 and to the Äbtestube restaurant in the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Bad Ragaz (Switzerland) in 2000 . In 2003 he went to Berlin to the Quadriga restaurant , Hotel Brandenburger Hof, where he became souchef. In 2006 he moved to the Facil restaurant as Sous Chef at The Mandala Hotel in Berlin, which has had two Michelin stars since 2014 .
Since 2015 he has been head chef at Facil , which continues to be awarded two Michelin stars.
