Joachim Jickeli

Joachim Jickeli (born 1958 in Stuttgart ) is a German legal scholar and has held a chair for civil law , business law and commercial law at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel since 1995 .

Life

From 1980 Jickeli studied business administration and law at the University of Tübingen and graduated in 1984 with the first state examination in law and in 1985 with the business administration diploma . The second state examination followed in 1988. In 1990 he was in Tübingen with a study on barriers to entry for Dr. iur. did his doctorate and habilitation there in 1994 as an assistant to Wernhard Möschel with a thesis on the "long-term contract". In the 1995 winter semester, Jickeli succeeded Franz Jürgen Säcker at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel after a year-long substitute for a chair . There he is director of the Institute for Business and Tax Law including White Collar Criminal Law and sponsor of the graduate program “Business Administration for Technology and Innovation or Business Management Aspects of Loosely Coupled Systems in the Age of Electronic Media”. From 2004 to 2006 Jickeli was dean of the law faculty at Kiel University.

Joachim Jickeli researches and publishes in civil law, including commercial and commercial law, and in particular in German and European competition law and the economic analysis of law . He comments on the right of the general partnership in Munich comment on Commercial Law and general property law (§§ 90-103 BGB) in Staudinger .
