Joachim Krecher
Joachim Krecher (born July 10, 1933 in Dresden ) is a German ancient orientalist .
Life
After receiving his doctorate in Heidelberg in 1963 (“Sumerian cult lyric”) and his habilitation (“The Egibi business house in Babylon in the Neo-Babylonian and Achaemenid period”) in Münster in 1970 , he taught there from 1974 as a professor of ancient oriental philology.
