Joachim Merk (lawyer)

Joachim Merk (born June 16, 1942 ) is a German administrative lawyer and legal advisor of the BRK district association of Regensburg .

Life

Merk studied law at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and in 1963 became a member of the musical student association AMV Fridericiana Erlangen . Until his retirement he worked as head of the “Environment, Health, Consumer Protection” department in the government. As managing director of the association "Friends of the University of Regensburg" he campaigned for the financial support of the university.

Honors

Merk has been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon and the University Medal "Bene merenti" from the University of Regensburg.
