Joachim Michas

Joachim Michas (born December 6, 1930 in Marienburg ; † November 9, 2012 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer and university professor.

Joachim Micah was in 1960 at the Humboldt University of Berlin Dr. jur. doctorate and taken on as a lecturer the following year. After his habilitation , Michas stayed as a professor at the Humboldt University at the Institute for Labor Law. He was a consultative councilor at the Supreme Court of the GDR and was a member of the FDGB legal commission .

Even after the German reunification , Michas remained a sought-after labor law expert.
