Joachim Rassow

Joachim Rassow (* 1959 ) is a German biochemist and professor at the Institute for Biochemistry and Pathobiochemistry at the Ruhr University in Bochum . He completed his habilitation in 1998 at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg ; his habilitation thesis was entitled Tim proteins and molecular folding aids as mediators of mitochondrial protein transport .

Rassow is the main author of the textbook Duale Reihe Biochemie , a standard work in this field.
