Joachim Riecker
Joachim Riecker (* 1963 in Wuppertal ) is a German journalist , historian and press officer .
From 1999 to 2015, Riecker was the managing editor and national political correspondent of the Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung . He also wrote for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung . In 2004 he did his doctorate at the Technical University of Berlin with Werner Dahlheim on ancient models in US foreign policy. From 2016 to 2020 he was deputy spokesman for the CDU / CSU parliamentary group as well as spokesman for the first parliamentary director Michael Grosse-Brömer and since April 1, 2020 he has been the spokesman for the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media , Minister of State for Culture Monika Grütters .
