Joachim Rieke

Joachim Rieke (* 1960 in Georgsmarienhütte ) is a German pianist , music teacher and professor of piano playing.

Life

From 1981 Rieke studied music education with Konrad Meister at the Musikhochschule in Bremen, majoring in piano . He completed this course in 1985 with the state private music teacher examination. He then studied from 1985 to 1987 at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Alexandru Hrisanide . At the same time he studied piano with Konrad Meister at the Hanover Music Academy and graduated with a diploma.

From 1985 to 1990 he worked as an instrumental piano teacher at the music school of the district of Oldenburg . From 1986 to 1988 he had a teaching position at the University of the Arts Bremen and at the University of Bremen for piano. From 1987 to 1992 he was Konrad Meister's assistant with a teaching position for piano as well as methodology and didactics at the Hanover University of Music. From 1988 to 1995 he taught piano at the music school in Bremen.

In 1991 he received a teaching position for piano and methodology as well as didactics at the study department of the Osnabrück Municipal Conservatory , which he held until 2000.

In 1994 he founded a private music school in Bremen , which he also directed until 2002. In 2000 he was appointed professor for piano and didactics at the Institute for Music at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences .

Rieke took part in various music festivals, gave concerts in numerous piano evenings and chamber music concerts since 1986 and took part in several radio productions of the Hessischer Rundfunk and Radio Bremen . He is a regular member of the jury for regional and state competitions Jugend musiziert in Bremen and Lower Saxony .
