Joachim Schöberl

Joachim Schöberl (born February 27, 1940 - April 30, 2016 ) was a German specialist in German .

Life

After his doctorate in 1972, the metaphor in the gallant poetry of the Neukirch collection. A contribution to the characteristics of the late baroque style at the University of Hamburg he taught from 1982 to 2005 as a professor for modern German literature in Hamburg and from 1993 was head of the Institute for Theater, Music Theater and Film.

His main research interests were film and television analysis, trivial and entertainment literature from the 19th and 20th centuries, and popular magazines in the 19th century (especially Die Gartenlaube ).
