Joachim Schindler

Joachim Schindler (born March 31, 1954 in Glauchau ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

After primary school, Joachim Schindler attended the extended company vocational school, where he completed his skilled worker qualification and the Abitur. This was followed by studies at Chemnitz University of Technology , specializing in applied mechanics, with a diploma in 1980. He then worked from 1980 to 1985 as a research assistant at Chemnitz University of Technology. In 1985 the doctorate took place. From 1985 he was employed as a research assistant at the TH Zwickau .

Schindler is married and has two children.

Joachim Schindler has been a member of the SPD since February 1990. Since May 1990 he was a member of the Glauchau city council and a member of the Glauchau district assembly. He was also an alderman for the district administrator.

In October 1990 Schindler was elected to the Saxon state parliament via the state list of the SPD Saxony , to which he belonged for an electoral period until 1994. There he was a member of the committee for construction and transport as well as the investigative committee for the workability of the Saxon state parliament.
