Joachim Thiel (born August 7, 1951 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Thiel began playing football at SC Tasmania in 1900 with which he was Berlin A youth champion in 1969. He played from 1970 to 1972 for Tasmania Berlin in the regional football league Berlin . With Tasmania he won the Berlin Cup in 1970 and the Berlin Champion in 1971. For Tasmania, he scored nine goals in 48 regional league games. He was also used in ten promotion round games to the Bundesliga in which he scored a goal. He then moved to Tennis Borussia Berlin . With Borussia he played in the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga . He played a total of 40 regional league games for the "Veilchen" in which he scored a goal. In 1976 he moved to Wacker 04 Berlin . There he played 41 games in the 2nd Bundesliga North until 1979 .
