Joachim Weber (* 1966 ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He is mayor of the city ​​of Konz and the community of Konz .

After primary school, he attended high school in Konz and passed his Abitur there in 1985. From July 1986 to June 1989 he attended the University of Applied Sciences for Finance in Edenkoben and graduated with a degree in finance . From his apprenticeship to 2008, Joachim Weber worked at the Trier tax office as a tax officer, among other things, in tax auditing, as an auditor and as chairman of the staff council .

In 2008 Joachim Weber was elected full-time alderman of the community of Konz. He held this office until the end of 2017. After the previous incumbent, Karl-Heinz Frieden, became managing director of the Rhineland-Palatinate Municipality and City Association , he was elected honorary mayor of the city of Konz and full-time mayor of the community of Konz on September 24, 2017.

In addition to his main job, Joachim Weber was a lecturer at the Federal Finance Academy in Brühl from 2003 to 2008 and local mayor in Konz- Oberemmel from 1999 to 2004 . He is a member of the district council of the district of Trier-Saarburg and is represented in several committees.
