Joakim Berg (born March 16, 1970 in Torshälla ), called Jocke Berg , is a Swedish composer, lyricist and singer of the rock band Kent , which had great success in Scandinavia and was often referred to as the largest rock band in Sweden.

He lives with his partner Tanja Määttä and their two sons in Kungsholmen / Stockholm. In 1998 he released an album as a pause with Peter Svensson , the guitarist of the Cardigans . Together with him he wrote some songs for Lisa Miskovsky and Titiyo (for example their big single Come along ). In 2001 there was a collaboration with Johan Renck alias Stakka Bo, for whom he wrote the song Killer and recorded the guitars. Both later also recorded the theme song for Renck's film Downloading Nancy . In 2010 Berg worked with the singer and youngster Erik Hassletogether. In 2011 he had a small voice acting role in the Disney film Cars 2 , for the Swedish version of which he sang the movie song 'You might think'. In the years 2011–12, further collaborations with up-and-coming artists followed. a. Alina Devecerski and Petra Marklund . Against this background, Berg is now one of the most important people on the Swedish music scene.
