Joan Hendry

Joan Hendry (born May 14, 1945 in Glasgow , United Kingdom ) is a former Canadian long jumper and sprinter .

In 1967 she was fifth in the long jump at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg .

At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, she was eliminated in the long jump and in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the first round.

In 1970 she won bronze in the long jump and in the 4-by-100-meter relay at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh .

In 1968 she became Canadian champion in the long jump.
