Jochen Hauer
Jochen Hauer , born in Hans Reinhold Hauer (born August 31, 1899 in Berndorf , German Empire ; † March 29, 1966, presumably in Munich ), was a German actor in the stage and film industry, as well as a theater director and, for a short time, theater director .
Live and act
Hauer had been on the theater stages (Walhalla Theater Berlin, Städtisches Theater Oberhausen, Stadttheater Gießen, Hessisches Landestheater Darmstadt, Volksbühne Berlin) since the early 1920s. During the Second World War, Hauer was senior theater director at the city theaters in Kiel until 1943, where he was also director of the theater. During the last season in the Third Reich (1943/44) Berndorfer was director of the municipal theaters in Teplitz-Schönau. At the end of the war in 1945 he fled the liberated Czechoslovakia to Bavaria and settled in Munich. In the Bavarian capital, Hauer initially (1947/48) found an engagement at the Munich Gastspiele GmbH. Fixed engagements since the beginning of the 1950s can no longer be identified.
From 1935 onwards, only interrupted by the war and the first post-war years, he took part in a number of movies - several times in Heimatfilms after 1945 - which mainly included small roles for him. You could see Hauer on the screen, for example, as a taxi driver in I Was Jack Mortimer , as the first officer in Der Impossible Herr Pitt , as a village miller in Grenzstation 58 , as a sergeant in Behind Klostermauern and as a forester in Die Försterchristel . Highly atypical in Hauer's film career is his role as Field Marshal Wilhelm Keitel, who was submissive to Hitler, in GW Pabst's attempted assassination reconstruction. It happened on July 20, 1955. Jochen Hauer has also appeared in numerous radio plays on Bavarian Radio.
