Jochen Kuhn (born April 7, 1954 in Wiesbaden ) is a German painter and filmmaker, screenwriter , composer and photographer.

Life

The son of a union secretary began to paint at the age of 15 and studied after graduating from high school from 1975 to 1980 at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts . Most of his films are painted and animated directly under the camera, sometimes with the inclusion of game scenes or photos. Kuhn has been teaching at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy since 1991 . Since 1994 he has been a member of the Berlin Academy of the Arts .

His archive is located in the Federal Archives - Filmarchiv department (Berlin).
