Joseph "Joe" Brincat (born March 5, 1970 in Ħamrun ) is a former Maltese football player . As a midfielder , he played 103 international matches for the Maltese national team .

Career

Brincat played for Ħamrun Spartans , FC Floriana , FC Birkirkara and Sliema Wanderers . With these clubs he won a total of thirteen national titles: seven times the championship and six times the cup.

From 1988 to 2004 he played in the Maltese national team and played 103 games in which he scored six goals. He is the third Maltese to reach 100 caps. Only David Carabott and Carmel Busuttil have made more appearances so far.
