Joe Chivers
Joe Chivers (actually Joseph Chivers; born March 16, 1951 ) is a former British sprinter .
Starting at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 for Northern Ireland , he was eliminated over 200 m in the preliminary run and was eighth in the 4 x 100 meter relay . In 1974 he failed at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch over 200 m and 400 m in the first round.
In 1975 he was English indoor champion over 400 m. He was twice Northern Irish champion over 200 m (1970, 1977) and 400 m (1973, 1977).
