Joe Estevez

Joseph "Joe" Estevez (born February 13, 1946 ) is an American actor , director and producer . He is the youngest brother of actor Martin Sheen and the uncle of Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen . His film work consists mainly of B-films , independent and direct-to-video productions. So far he has appeared in over 285 productions.

Career

Joe Estevez was born in Dayton, Ohio to a Catholic father, Francisco Estévez (1898–1974), and an Irish mother, Mary Anne (née Phelan) (1903–1951). He is one of ten children. He attended Chaminade Julienne High School, a Catholic school in Dayton. After graduation, he enrolled in the Navy.

After serving in the Navy, Estevez began an acting career in the early 1970s. He first used his mother's maiden name before renaming himself Estevez again. In the course of his career, Estevez appeared in numerous film and television productions, in leading and supporting roles. He also works as a voice actor and appears in plays.

Private

Estevez was married twice. In 1978 he married his first wife and there were three daughters from this marriage. His second wife is the actress Constance Anderson, whom he married in 2004.
