Joe King
Joseph "Joe" Sayers King (born February 9, 1883 in Austin , Texas , † April 11, 1951 in Woodland Hills , Los Angeles ) was an American actor .
life and career
Between 1912 and 1946, Joe King played in a total of over 200 feature films. King was a very busy film actor, especially during the silent movie era . In 1918 he directed the film Shifting Sands with Gloria Swanson . After the end of the silent film in the late 1920s, King was only seen in supporting roles, at the end of his career in 1946 almost always without mentioning in the film credits . He was married to the silent film actress Hazel Brukman (1888-1959).
