Woodland Hills is a district of Los Angeles in the US state of California .

Woodland Hills is located in the southwest of the San Fernando Valley and borders on Calabasas in the west, Tarzana in the east , West Hills , Canoga Park and Winnetka in the north and Topanga in the south. Highway 101 and Ventura Boulevard run through the district from east to west . Woodland Hills has 61,092 residents, of whom 74.8% are white, 3.4% are African American , 7.2% are Hispanic / Latino, and 5.9% are Asian-American , and 6.8% are of two or more ethnicities .

The highest temperature ever recorded in Los Angeles County was 48  ° C (119  ° F ) and was recorded in 2006 at Los Angeles Pierce College in Woodland Hills.
