Josef Pechhacker

Josef "Joe" Pechhacker (* in Ybbsitz ) is an Austrian film and theater actor. The actor, best known as a theater actor, played the villain and poisoner Doctor Gruselglatz in numerous episodes of Tom Turbo from the 1990s until his role was discontinued in the 2000s. Today (as of October 2015) Pechhacker continues to appear in various Austrian theater productions.

life and career

Pechhacker was born in Ybbsitz, Lower Austria , and completed his school education in 1955 with a high school diploma from HTLV Mödling in the field of mechanical engineering. Between 1961 and 1964 he took acting lessons from Marie-Luise Rainer and then worked part-time, full-time as a technical employee until 1986, as an actor at various Viennese small theaters , the Carnuntum Summer Games , the Grein Summer Games , the St. Pölten City Theater , the Volkstheater Vienna , the Raimund Theater Vienna and numerous others. From 1973 to 1986 he belonged to the cabaret ensemble Die Giftzwerge . In 1976 he played in the ORF TV film Antireport , directed by Gerhard Bronner .
