Joe Locksmith
Joe Schlosser (born February 6, 1958 in Bremen ) is a German author of crime novels.
biography
Like his father and grandfather, Schlosser grew up in Bremen's Ostertor. After an apprenticeship as an export merchant, he became a police officer in Bremen. He studied at the University of Public Administration and was then transferred to Bremen-Walle. After an accident at work, he retired from the police force. He ran a discotheque and an event business, was a waiter and bouncer and managing director of a wholesale company. He also worked as a catering consultant and developer and worked for the Bremen cultural authority.
In his books he takes up socially relevant topics that he wants to bring closer to a wider audience through fiction. In addition to his crime novels, he writes critical and surreal short stories. A short crime novel by Joe Schlosser was published as the winner of the Osteland crime competition in the book Murder on the Transporter Bridge.
