Mislav "Mimi" Saric (born September 3, 1983 in Požega ) is an Australian - Croatian football player .

Career

Saric began his career in the men's field after attending the Australian Institute of Sport in 2001 in the National Soccer League (NSL) at Adelaide City . When the team withdrew from the NSL in 2003, Saric came under at the successor club Adelaide United . A year later, the NSL's game operations were stopped and Saric, like many other Australian professionals, moved abroad. With the Croatian second division club Cibalia Vinkovci , the offensive player achieved promotion to the top division , but then returned to Australia. With the Croatian club Adelaide Raiders , the multiple Australian U-17 international continued his career at state level before he received a professional contract from the A-League team Perth Glory for the 2006/07 season .

After one season and ten missions, his contract with Perth was not renewed and Saric first played at Campbelltown City SC before he went back to Europe in the summer of 2007 and completed a few games for the Finnish third division team Porin Palloilijat . After the end of the season, he joined the Adelaide Rovers again, for which he competes in the South Australian Super League .
