Joel Andrade (born April 18, 1948 in Atenguillo , Jalisco ) is a retired Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield .
career
society
Andrade began his professional career in the 1966/67 season with Atlas Guadalajara ; one of the two big city rivals from Guadalajara , the capital of the state of Jalisco, where Andrade was born. With the Rojinegros Andrade won the Mexican Cup competition in the 1967/68 season .
In 1971 Andrade moved to the Guadalajara-based CSD Jalisco before moving to the state capital in 1973 and spending the next two seasons with CD Cruz Azul , with whom he won the Mexican Football Championship and the Supercup in the 1973/74 season .
In 1975 he returned to Guadalajara, where he spent the next two seasons at Club Universidad de Guadalajara , with whom he was twice runner-up in the Mexican league .
National team
His only international appearance for " El Tri " completed Andrade on September 10, 1972 in a World Cup qualifier against the USA, which was won 2-1.
